Nadja Baldini is an art historian who lives and works as a freelance curator and art educator in Zurich. She studied art history and French literature and linguistics at the Universities of Zurich and Geneva and completed the Postgraduate Programme in Curating at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) in 2015 with a Master of Arts (MAS). As an independent curator, she works for various art and educational institutions, including the Helmhaus Zurich, and is involved in a range of long-term educational and publication projects. Working closely with artists, she develops educational formats that are experimental and facilitate unconventional forms of learning and knowledge exchange, with dialogue and collaborative practice always at the heart of the process. Since 2019, she has been organising a series of transdisciplinary outreach projects on the themes of work, flight and migration with Club La Fafa. She teaches at the F+F School of Art and Design and is the director of Visarte Zurich.

Hanja Blendin is Deputy Head of the Accreditation and Quality Development Office at ZHdK. She is the contact person for surveys and evaluations. In 2020, she was responsible for the institutional accreditation of ZHdK. Together with the ZCCE, she works on the topic of skills and is particularly interested in the question of whether ZHdK’s degree programmes teach the right and relevant skills, and how we can recognise this. Previously, she was a lecturer for monitoring and evaluation in the Quality Management Unit at the University of Konstanz. In 2013, she obtained her PhD in International Politics with experimental studies on the decision-making behaviour of state actors in situations of international crisis. She holds a degree in Economics and is from Cologne.

Patrik Ferrarelli is design director and owner of the Visuelle Gestaltung studio. He works for clients in the business and academic sectors and teaches at various universities in Switzerland and abroad (Switzerland and Germany). At the Department of Design at ZHdK, he works part-time in services, where he specialises in visual identities and systems. He is responsible for the travelling exhibition ‘100 Best Posters from Germany, Austria and Switzerland’ and holds various art director roles for conferences, events and dossiers within the Department of Design. His posters have already been exhibited in Finland, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland and China. His ZHdK_PosterLab, in collaboration with a printing company, gained international attention when the student poster “City Space” was awarded the “TDC65 Certificate of Typographic Excellence New York” by the Type Directors Club. Patrik studied Visual Communication in Zurich and Bern and subsequently worked in London and Zurich. 

Seline Baumgartner works primarily with video, usually presenting her work in spatial installations. In her works, the artist explores the relationship between the individual and society, especially the impact of social norms and power structures on the individual. Choreography and dance play a central role in this. Physical gestures and movements are the language through which Baumgartner tells stories, making history tangible in a different way. 

From 2018–2021, she studied for a Master of Fine Arts at ZHdK. Baumgartner has been awarded various prizes, including the 2009 Kiefer Hablitzel Prize, the 2010 City of Zurich Visual Arts Scholarship, a production grant, and the 2014 Dr Georg and Josi Guggenheim Foundation Prize. In 2008, she was awarded the City of Zurich’s Visual Arts Scholarship, Atelier New York, and subsequently lived in Brooklyn until 2018. Solo exhibitions in 2015 at the Centre Culturel Suisse, Paris, and at 83 Pitt Street, New York, as well as in 2016 at the tanzhaus nrw, Düsseldorf. Works in public collections (selection): Aarau, Aargauer Kunsthaus; Munich, Goetz Collection; Kunsthaus Zürich; Art Collection of the Canton of Zurich.

Johanna-Maria Raimund (b. 1991) works as a freelance dramaturg and production manager in the fields of theatre and dance – throughout Switzerland, based in Zurich. As part of the core group at art+care, she is committed to improving the balance between work in the cultural sector and care responsibilities. She is a board member of ZHdK’s alumni association Netzhdk. In 2024, Johanna-Maria completed the one-year CAS ‘Writing in Art and Culture’ at ZHdK. Since 2021, she has been co-director of the dance festival Tanzmehr anderes festival commun for artistic community dance. She also works as a production manager and external dramaturgical consultant for the theatre collectives radikal plüsch (Zurich) and super!@Firma für Zwischenbereiche (Basel/Geneva).  In 2021/22, Johanna-Maria was part of the strategic management team of netzwerk wildi blaatere (this group took part in the Z-Kubator programme ‘What’s next’ in 2021). She contributed to the ‘Kalkulator’ and ‘Checkliste’ projects by Fe:maleAct (an initiative for greater equality in the performing arts). From 2020, she was a co-author of the RESO Manifesto and the first version of the Fairspec Code.  

Johanna-Maria completed her BA in Theatre, specialising in Dramaturgy, at ZHdK in 2017, has two children (b. 2015 & 2020) and is originally from Vienna. 

Cellist Isabel Gehweiler, who trained at institutions including the Juilliard School of Music in New York, first gained international recognition in 2007 when, at the age of 19, she was awarded the ‘European Promotion Prize for Young Artists’. Since then, she has collaborated with numerous classical artists as well as pop icons such as Andreas Vollenweider, Gianna Nannini and the director Christoph Marthaler. To date, the cellist has performed in almost 1,000 concerts and has established herself as a versatile and multifaceted musician and composer. Isabel Gehweiler is the recipient of, amongst others, the European Promotion Prize for Young Artists, the Art Prize of the Baden-Württemberg Art Foundation and the Markgräfler Art Promotion Prize. From 2016 to 2021, Isabel Gehweiler held a teaching post for violoncello at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media and currently teaches guest seminars at ZHdK.
