UX/UI Designer
Hiring a UX/UI designer to join our Startup in Dublin on a full-time, year-long contract.
Who are we?
We're an early-stage startup based out of Dublin, Ireland. We are building a future where consumers can confidently shop online with greater ease and where brands can sell more efficiently. To do so we are building a system to measure people from photos and offer sizing recommendations when shopping for clothes online. In short, we ensure only the right sized clothes are bought.
Why this role?
1. Create new experiences: Syze is going to change how people shop and ultimately wear their clothes. Help us build this new experience at a time when it's most needed.
2. Join early: We're at the beginning of our journey. We're a small, dedicated and fast-paced team. You'll be joining pre-launch, will form a core part of our team and shape our growth.
3. Startup learning: Improve your skills and learn at a startup rate as we build and launch within a year.
Who do we work with?
We work closely with the Adapt Research Centre in Trinity College Dublin. They have a strong history of creating impactful new technology, having pioneered video and audio technologies now used every day in movie production and by companies such as YouTube/Google. They even won a technical Oscar for work on the Matrix films.
Who are we looking for?
- You are good at teasing out out insights from users and can transform these into fully formed features.
- You are passionate about fashion and eCommerce. Further, you want to translate this passion into a product by creating magical experiences.
- You are able to tell compelling stories.
- You want to join a fast-paced startup.
- As a bonus, you can code.
What will you do as UX/UI designer at Syze?
- You will be responsible for the overall product design from beginning to end. Everything a user sees and interacts with is your responsibility.
- Play a pivotal role in defining Syze’s brand and executing brand assets across initiatives such as our site, app, and more.
- Work closely with the founding team, engineers and customers to build beautiful and meaningful features.
